Il tool genera font nel formato compatibile a quello utilizzabile da PageLab
The "IEC Font Designer" tool can be used to generate fonts in a format suitable for use inside PageLab.


Istruzioni base per la generazione:
Basic usage instructions:
* Select a font and a font size
* Select one or more character subsets
* Choose "Proportional" flag if needed (and if supported by your runtime)
* Choose "Embedded map" flag if needed (and if supported by your runtime)
* Choose appropriate W and H (width and height) fields, until all characters are propertly centered (yellow boxes should not be present)
* Go to "IEC generator" tab, and click "From generator"
* Then click "Save" (it is recommended to leave the default file name as proposed)


- Selezionare il font e la sua font size
It is now possible to import the generated .PLF file inside your PageLab project.


- Selezionare i set di caratteri di interesse
The .PLF file (that is a textual file) will be then converted into .PLK font (that is an optimized binary file); if you want to put your new font inside your catalog for distribution, it is better to put directly the .PLK file.


- Seleziona il flag proportional (se desiderato e supportato dal runtime)
- Seleziona il flag embedded map (se supportato dal runtime)
- Modificare i campi W e H fino a centrare correttamente i caratteri (devono sparire le caselle gialle)
- Passare nel tab IEC generator e cliccare From generator
- Quindi fare clic su Save (si consiglia di lasciare il nome del file così come viene proposto)
A questo punto è possibile aprire il progetto pagelab e importare il font creato
